Barstad discusses fly fishing for trout in Spring Coulee Creek, Timber Coulee Creek, and other creeks that form the Coon Creek Watershed around Coon Valley, Wisconsin. He describes the problems of increased fishing pressure and chemical pollution, but he indicates that flood control and conservation have improved.
